Youth conference "Youth and Stability Pact"

Participants in the project were mainly young people. During the discussion they had expose their problems of society life, studding problems and the possibilities for foreign studying and employment as well. During the discussion some questions broth with the project where asked.

Their goal was to initiate more views to discuss about Stability Pact and exposing its purpose. Target groups were young people from R. Macedonia and guests from R.Macedonia and guests from the countries in the region.

The questions were:

• What is the role of the Stability pact in your country?
• What do you mean about the purpose and intentions of the Pact?
• What are the perspectives and implementing the Stability Pact, and for how long can they be expected?
• What effect will Stability Pack cause in whole West-East region?

In several workshops, the participants analyzed the problems and gave answer to questions, discussing about present situation in their countries.

All of the answers where similar, and we had made an goal concept:

• Role that the Pact spouse to play in their home countries id implementing higher level of democratization, respecting human rights, economic reconstruction and development, cooperation security and Justice, and Home Affairs.
• Main intentions of the Stability Pact are providing healthy democratic society, normal modern life in which their main occupation will be prosperity of society and personals goods on democratic and institutional bases.
• Perspectives from the Pact for the countries in transition are forming healthy democratic society, where each young person can develop skills for further occupation. The young people should generally accept the Stability Pact. But they are not informed enough or not informed properly about details and perspectives of the Pact. In that direction, organizing round tables and seminars whit this content is necessary. Also distributing propaganda materials, showing education documentary on the media can give closer look on the main principles of the Stability Pact.
• Financial help, which is provided by the Stability Pact for development of democratic society and culture. In the countries of the West-East region, main problems come from the lack of democracy and the low respect for the human rights.
