European House Skopje is a citizens association established on the self-initiative of the citizens for accomplishment of the interests with the implementation of our activities. European House Skopje is non-governmental and non-partisan organization open for public and for every citizen that contributes to the promotion of the European values in Republic of Macedonia and the affirmation of the Macedonian values and culture outside Macedonia.

The main goal of our organization is affirmation and promotion or the European idea in Republic of Macedonia. The process of implementation is consisted of projects performed in order to inform the public about the European integration process, education, sustainable development of Republic of Macedonia , culture, promotion and co-operation.

Aims and goals
•  Affirmation of the European idea in Macedonia ;
•  Presentation of the Macedonian cultural and national history in Europe ;
•  Informing the Macedonian citizens about the European integration process;
•  Protection, promoting and developing of the human rights and freedoms;
•  Promoting the multicultural understanding, tolerance and dialog whit the rest of the European states and nations;
•  Co-operate whit the European organizations and institutions;
•  Organize meetings whit the European representatives and representatives from the Macedonian organizations and institutions;
•  Strengthening the communication between the citizens and the governmental institutions;
•  Help improving the state institutions by realizing projects;
•  Organize international conferences, round tables and open debates to promote the European ideas;
•  Publishing books and brochures to explain the individual aspects of the Macedonian Euro-integration;
•  Organize student and expert exchange programs and international happenings in order to get know the European institutions and processes better, etc.

Objectives
Our:
VISION IS - to see Macedonia as an equal member of the European Union.

MISSION IS
•  Promoting European values;
•  To enhance the civil society development;
•  Strengthen the democratic process of governance;
•  Sustainable development of local community;
•  Promotion of new culture of change;
•  Conflict management.

INTENTION IS
•  To support peaceful resolution of conflicts between individuals and community;
•  To promote the idea of justice and standing up against every kind of violence;
•  To develop and maintain co-operation between citizens and communities in Macedonia and the world;
•  To strengthen the non-governmental (civil society) sector in Macedonia;
•  To strengthen the communication between the citizens and the governmental institutions;
•  To promote the respect of human dignity;
•  To fight against violation of human rights.

OBLIGATION IS
•  Articulation and developing of the values of civil society;
•  Development of sustainable NGOs;
•  Development of a sustainable local community;
•  Development of an open forum of citizens and organizations (at the local, regional and national level) aimed at facilitating dialog, exchange of information, advancing mutual understanding, solidarity, co-operation and communication;
•  Informing the Macedonian citizens about the process of European integration.

PRINCIPLES ARE
•  Investing in peoples' knowledge and skills is an efficient way for institutional development and promotion change;
•  Training is a tool for capacity building but also for changing attitudes and stimulate initiative at community level;
•  Collaboration and expertise exchange at regional and national level are efficient ways for learning from each others' successes and failures;
•  Participation and interactive problem solving processes that build partnerships and prevent conflicts;
•  Autonomous, accountable and active local governments are the foundation of democracy;
•  Effective and efficient local governments are crucial for the change management and local development processes;
•  Knowledge is more important to have effective & efficient local governance knowledge and skills than capital investment.

Working methods
European House Skopje uses different forms of activities and especially is active through clubs, forums and commissions within the projects, which might be, according to specific needs, grouped in working programs for a specific issue.

•  Forum for Education;
•  Forum for Euro Integration process;
•  Forum for Regional Co-operation;

Special forms of activities of the European house Skopje are workshops, public debates, campaigns, researches, publishing (in printed or electronic form) as well as other forms of activities in accordance with the mission of the organization.
