Open call for the competition Europe at school 2005

From the 1st of September the announcement of the contest the Europe at School will start. The public call that will invite the students and pupils to take part in the competition will be announced in every of the given primary and high schools by:

Posters - all the necessary info for the competition (dates, topic, forms of expressing, type of works, authorised professors), the regulations that should be respected;
Brochure – introduction to the project in general and the history of the project in Macedonian, the necessary information, mentioned in the poster, but explained in details. The brochure will include a registry list for assignment of participants in order to give their information more precisely.

The public will also be introduced with the competition Europe at School by its advertising and promotion on the popular TV stations and daily papers.

Competition

From October 1st till December 31st 2004 , the target-group students in the schools of the Skopje region will perform the competition during one of the school classes. The students will compete in art and literature. The literature competition will be performed on the native language of the students. They will sign their works with codes, so the objectiveness of the juries can be guaranteed. This competition will be performed in two categories: the first are pupils from primary schools from fifth till eight grade (Total number: 9578) and the second one are high school students from first till fourth students year (Total number: 12376). The subject of this year competition will be: "Being a citizen in a changing Europe". These two categories will compete separately on two different levels.

This year participants in the Europe at School literature competition had the opportunity to write in their own mother tongue. For those reason deputies juries were assigned. Their job was to check the translation of the works made in Albanian and Turkish language:
