Establishing of the Macedonian National Committee
The Macedonian National Committee of the Europe at School is comsisted of representatives from the relevant institutions, organizations and respective citizens that participate in the activities created with the international project Europe at School under the Forum for Education of the European House Skopje.
The Macedonian National Committee of the Europe at School was established on 1 th of April 2004. The delegated representatives are the following:

In this phase the National Committee will work for performing the pilot-contest with the activities, as follows:
Pilot-contest
The target group of the pilot-contest will be ten Secondary schools, whish will be defined afterwards.
Target-group of the competition are students from I-IV grade from the State Secondary schools that are already defined. The students will compete in two categories:
- Competition in literature and
- Competition in art
The students (pupils) participate in the competition on voluntary basis. The pilot-contest will be announced by posters and leaflets, containing all the necessary information about the contest, like: rules, dates, awards etc. The school-level winners works will be handed to the National Juries that will reach the final decision and will announce the final prizewinners in both of the categories, art and literature. The final prizewinners will be announced during the Prize-giving ceremony on May 9 th, The Day of Europe.
Prize-giving ceremony
All the school-level winners works, that were in the final, will be exposed at the ceremony, so the public can see them. The announcement of the award winners will also take place, and the written works of the winners will be read. The award winners will be the ones that will give speeches, sending the European massage to Macedonia.
Long term activities
Regardless to the previous project development, the Europe at School contest will continue to be realized on annual basis, following the timelines that are recommended in the European Committee of Europe at School, starting from September 2004. The complete structure will be defined by then. The Macedonian National Committee of Europe at School will define the forms of contests that will be announced, the target groups and the level of implementation. |
